My name is Rebecca Wells.

I have been working in archives and special collections for nearly a decade now, gaining the breadth and depth of specialized knowledge and skills required to be a leader in the field and direct the operations of a cultural records repository. I am a Spring 2022 graduate of the Master of Science in Information Studies (MSIS) program at the University of Texas at Austin, with Endorsements of Specializations in Archival Administration and Preservation

Administration. I simultaneously earned an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Advanced Management of Libraries and Information Agencies from the University of North Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Scandinavian Studies, and Creative Writing, with a Music minor from Augustana College in 2016.

As an archivist, I believe archives are a place where journeys of exploration and discovery are collected, preserved, and made accessible to connect people across time through the shared experience of life.
